Orientations and trainings on the Green Brigade are being conducted by some DENR Regional Offices and their respective SK Provincial and City/Municipal federations.
Mandated by Executive Order No. 52,
series of 1998, the Green Brigades from all Katipunan ng Kabataan promotes environmental awareness and action among the
Filipino
youth. This is a barangay based environmental program for youth aged 15-25.

Now on its 6th year, the Youth For Environment Summer Camp is jointly conducted by the Department of Education Center for Students and Co-Curricular Affairs, KASAMA Inc. and DENR Youth Desk It is conducted. in different parts of the country and being participated by elementary, high school students and science teachers.
Department of Education Order No.
72, series of 2003, establishes YES-O as the only
co-curricular environmental club or
organization in schools. It consolidates all other
environmental and/or ecology clubs or organizations in
schools with main and primary programs or projects for
the environment or
ecology.
YES CAMP College 2008 was conducted in partnership with the Office of Student Services, Commission on Higher Education.

In response to the call to promote the National
Service Training Program of the government for tertiary
level, through one of its component, Civic Welfare
Training Service, the DENR and PATLEPAM formulated 8
environmental modules named ECO-CORPs. A total of 52
hours of lecture & (hands on) community work on
various topics on environment are all included in
project Eco-Corps. At present, the modules are being tested in various universities.

DENR Youth Desk, DepED CS CA and Kabataang
Sama-samang Maglilingkod Inc. tie up for the
conduct of this annual youth camp to mobilize
renewed youth participation and action to protect,
preserve, conserve and rehabilitate our
environment. This partnership believes that
starting them young in the environmental realities
ensures a clean and healthy environment for next generation. |

The DENR Youth Desk provides lectures and seminar on environmental projects/programs implemented nationwide for the protection and conservation of the environment and natural resources. |
